Terms and
Conditions
Effective Date: 31 August 2025
1. Introduction
Welcome to Nawasena Liveaboard Indonesia (“the Company”). By booking and participating in our liveaboard trips aboard the vessel Nawasena, you (“the Guest”) agree to abide by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read this document carefully before confirming your booking, as it outlines your rights, responsibilities, and important information about your trip.
2. Reservations and Payments
- Reservations may be made through our official website, staff, or authorized agents. We are happy to provide any assistance you may require.
- A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total invoiced amount is required at the time of reservation to secure your reservation.
- The balance must be paid no later than 60 days prior to the departure date.
- If full payment is not received 60 days prior to the departure date, Nawasena Liveaboard Indonesia reserves the right to cancel the reservation and retain the deposit.
- Reservations made within 60 days of departure require full payment at the time of reservation.
3. Cancellations and Refunds
- Cancellations made 90 days or more prior departure will receive a refund of any payments made, excluding the deposit.
- Cancellations made between 89 and 60 days prior to departure will receive a refund of 50% of any payments made, excluding the deposit.
- Cancellations less than 59 days or less before departure are non-refundable.
- No refunds are provided for missed departures, unused services, or early disembarkation.
- Guests are encouraged to purchase comprehensive travel insurance. We are happy to assist you in identifying options.
4. Changes to Itinerary
- The Company reserves the right to alter itineraries, schedules, dive sites, and the vessel Nawasena due to weather, safety, governmental regulations, or other unforeseen circumstances.
- Whenever possible, comparable alternatives will be offered.
- No refunds or credits will be issued for itinerary changes due to reasons beyond the Company’s control.
5. Health, Safety, and Certification Requirements
- All diving Guests must provide proof of certification by a agency recognized by the Company before participating in any diving activities. Examples include but are not limited to: BSAC, CMAS, GUE, PADI, SSI, SDI/TDI, UTD or any WRSTC member agency. If your certifying agency is not one of the aforementioned agencies, please contact us prior to making a deposit.
- Prior to participating in any diving experiences, Guests must complete a medical questionnaire and, if requested by the Company, provide a physician’s clearance to dive. Physician’s clearances must be dated within one year of the last day of the cruise.
- Any medical conditions or medication must be declared prior to the trip.
- The Company reserves the right to refuse participation to any Guest the Company deems unfit for diving or liveaboard experiences or activities.
- Guests participating in diving experiences must complete, sign, and adhere to the diving policy statement, and always dive within the limits of their training and experience.
6. Insurance
- All Guests are strongly encouraged to obtain travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, medical expenses, emergency evacuation, and baggage loss.
- Guests intending to participate in diving experiences must provide proof of dive accident insurance (e.g., DAN, DiveAssure). The policy must include hyperbaric chamber treatment and evacuation and be active for the duration of the cruise. Guests who do not provide proof of qualifying dive accident insurance prior to disembarkation will forfeit all diving privileges without refund. We are very happy to assist you in obtaining dive accident insurance.
- The Company is not liable for any costs incurred due to accident, death, injury, illness, loss or damage of personal property, or delay.
7. Code of Conduct
- Guests must comply with all safety instructions provided by the Company staff.
- Alcohol consumption is permitted in moderation after diving activities have concluded for the day.
- Possession or use of illegal substances is strictly prohibited.
- Respect for fellow guests, crew, local people and customs, and marine life is mandatory.
- Any behavior that endangers safety or disrupts the experience of others may result in removal from the vessel at the Guest’s expense and without refund.
8. Liability and Assumption of Risk
- Participation in scuba diving and related activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to decompression sickness, injury, and death.
- Guests must sign a liability release and assumption of risk waiver prior to boarding Nawasena.
- Nawasena Liveaboard Indonesia, its owners, employees, and agents are not liable for any death, injury, loss, damage, accident, delay, or irregularity arising from participation in the trip.
9. Equipment
- Guests may bring their own equipment or rent from Nawasena Liveaboard Indonesia.
- Rental equipment must be reserved in advance and is subject to availability.
- Guests are responsible for the care and return of all rental equipment; damages or loss will be charged accordingly.
- Personal dive computers are required for all divers.
- The Company provides basic safety equipment.
10. Children and Non-Divers
- Children under 10 years of age are not permitted aboard Nawasena without prior written approval from the company.
- Guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times.
- Non-divers are welcome! There are many non-diving experiences to enjoy. Non-divers are enthusiastically encouraged to learn to dive; please ask about training options.
11. Environmental Responsibility
- Littering, polluting, damaging, or taking any part of the environment is prohibited. Harassing, injuring, killing, or taking wildlife is prohibited. These policies apply to all Guests and Company staff. These policies are strictly enforced. The Company may “sign, and adhere to the responsible diving practices statement.
- Single-use plastics are discouraged; Guests are encouraged to use reusable bottles and containers.
- Nawasena Liveaboard Indonesia supports local conservation efforts and may conduct briefings or activities related to marine protection.
12. Photography and Videography
- Guests are welcome to take photographs and videos for personal use.
- Commercial use of photographs or video taken during the trip by Guests requires prior written consent from the Company.
- The Company may take photos and videos during the trip for promotional purposes. Guests may opt out by submitting a written request prior to boarding.
13. Privacy
- Personal information collected at the time of booking is used solely for administration of the trip and is not shared except as required by law.

14. Governing Law
- These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Company is registered.”
- Any disputes arising from participation in liveaboard trips by the Company will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.
15. Acceptance of Terms
- By making a reservation and participating in liveaboard trips by the Company, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you have any questions about these Terms and Conditions, please contact the Company before finalizing your booking.
